Henrik Refsnes

Welcome to my creative corner of the internet. I am both a Swede and an American—an international man of mysteries. During the day I work in IT, at night I dream up stories about square-jawed protagonists, and at all times I consume copious amounts of coffee.

My writing is inspired by the golden era of pulp fiction, riddled with modern parallels and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. Around here you can expect irreverent tales of adventure where villains plot and heroes fumble, the one-liners fly, and there is definitely no time to bleed.

I am also a decades-long fan of the board game Hero Quest, making this website not just another author page but a place of high adventure. My quest designs are delivered with a healthy dose of both satire and sarcasm, and their difficulty is set to ensure the lamentation of your players as you drive their heroes before you.
