HERO OR MONSTER. IT DOESN’T MATTER.

Pilgrim is shit out of luck. In a world where an oppressive clergy controls—or destroys—all enchantments, his body is covered with magical tattoos he can’t remember getting. Hunted by every clergy knight except one, he has nowhere to hide. With no memory beyond five years, he’s turned to two things that definitely won’t help. Cheap brandy and berserker rage.

Everything changes when his grifter friend steals a valuable painting. A young enchanter, in way over her head, links the painting’s ancient origins to Pilgrim’s tattoos and her fate to his. But some answers are better left at the bottom of the bottle. As history unravels and ride or die friendships are questioned, Pilgrim must fight a clergy that could be the last defense against something far worse than him.

His past.

Heroes & Horseshit is the two-fisted tale of a berserker without memories, the knight who was supposed to entrap him, a charlatan that learns nothing, and the girl who imagined dragons—featuring chandelier-swinging men in tights and unyielding women with swords (and bombs).
